Bingöl'ün Genç ilçesine bağlı Sarıbudak köyü kırsalında saat 14:30 sıralarında henüz bilinmeyen bir nedenle ot yangını çıktı. Olay yerine Orman İşletme Müdürlüğü ve Genç Belediyesi itfaiye ekipleri sevk edildi. Yangına müdahale için 2 arazöz, 2 ilk müdahale aracı ve bir iş makinesi kullanıldı.
5 dönümlük alanda etkili olan yangın, ekiplerin yoğun çalışmasıyla 3 saat içerisinde kontrol altına alındı ve söndürüldü. Yangının çıkış nedenini belirlemek için inceleme başlatıldı.
