Nuri Şahin, Alman ekibi Borussia Dortmund ile 2027'ye kadar anlaşma sağladı. Nuri Şahin imzadan sonra kulübün resmi internet sitesinde şu açıklamayı yaptı;
"Borussia Dortmund'un teknik direktörü olmak benim için büyük bir onur. Kulüpteki tüm sorumlulara bana duydukları güven için teşekkür etmek istiyorum.
BVB'deki görevimi dört gözle bekliyorum. İlk günden itibaren, başarımızı en üst düzeye çıkarmak için büyük bir enerji ve tutkuyla elimizden gelen her şeyi yapacağız"
Nuri Şahin profesyonel futbol kariyerine Borussia Dortmund ile başlamıştı. Ardından Feyenoord, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Werder Bremen ve Antalyaspor gibi takımların formalarını terletti.
Teknik direktörlük kariyerine futbolculuk kariyerinde en son forma giydiği Antalyaspor'da başlayan Nuri Şahin, şimdiyse futbolculuk kariyerinin başlangıcını yaptığı kulüpte teknik direktör olarak yeni bir sayfa açıyor.
