Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu (TFF) tarafından yapılan açıklamaya göre, ceza 26 Ocak 2025 tarihinde oynanan Çaykur Rizespor - Adana Demirspor karşılaşmasında taraftarların neden olduğu saha olayları nedeniyle verildi.
PFDK’nın 30 Ocak 2025 tarihli 35 sayılı toplantısında alınan karara göre, Trendyol Süper Lig Şamil Ekinci Sezonu’nun 21. haftasında oynanan karşılaşma sonrası Çaykur Rizespor'un aldığı ceza şöyle açıklandı:
“ÇAYKUR RİZESPOR A.Ş.’nin, 26.01.2025 tarihinde oynanan ÇAYKUR RİZESPOR A.Ş.-ADANA DEMİRSPOR A.Ş. Trendyol Süper Lig Şamil Ekinci Sezonu müsabakasında, taraftarlarının neden olduğu saha olayları nedeniyle FDT’nin 52/2. ve 46/1. maddeleri uyarınca 168.000 TL para cezası ile cezalandırılmasına karar verilmiştir.”
