Çaykur Rizespor, Yannis Papanikolau’nun sağlık durumu ile ilgili resmi bir açıklama yayımladı.
22 Şubat 2025 tarihinde oynanan Samsunspor karşılaşmasında sakatlanarak oyundan çıkan Papanikolau’nun yapılan muayene ve röntgen tetkikleri sonucunda sağ omzunda AC Joint Sprain (Acromioclavicular eklem zorlanması) tespit edildi.
MRI kontrolleriyle de teşhisi doğrulanan futbolcunun sakatlık seviyesinin grade 3 olduğu belirlendi. Bu doğrultuda, 8 Mart 2025 tarihinde ameliyat edilmesine karar verildi.
Yannis Papanikolau’nun tahmini geri dönüş süresi 8-12 hafta olarak öngörülüyor.
