Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, AK Parti'nin düzenlenecek Rize ve Trabzon il kongrelerine katılmak üzere memleketi Güneysu'ya gitti. Merkez Camisi önünde vatandaşları selamlayan Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, burada kısa bir konuşma yaptı. AK Parti'nin Samsun ve Ordu kongrelerini gerçekleştirdiklerini, yarın ise Rize ve Trabzon kongrelerini yapacaklarını ifade etti.
Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, Güneysu'da vefat eden komşusu Mehmet Karslı'nın taziye evini ziyaret edeceğini ve cenaze merasimine katılacağını belirtti. Konuşmasında birlik ve beraberlik mesajları veren Erdoğan, AK Parti'nin gücünü artırmak için çalışmaya devam edeceklerini vurguladı.
Ayrıca, çocuklara oyuncak dağıtan Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, vatandaşlarla sohbet edip hatıra fotoğrafı çektirdi.
