Ceyhan Belediyesi, 10 Kasım Atatürk'ü Anma Günü'nde düzenlediği anlamlı programla Ulu Önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ü saygı, özlem ve minnetle andı. Murat Göğebakan Kültür Merkezi'nde gerçekleşen etkinlik, saygı duruşu ve İstiklal Marşı ile başladı. Programa yoğun katılım gösteren vatandaşlara, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün fikirlerini kaleme aldığı "Nutuk" eseri hediye edildi.
Anma programında Ceyhan Belediyesi Türk Halk Müziği Korosu ve Musiki Severler Derneği sahne alarak, Atatürk'ün sevdiği türküleri seslendirdi. Ceyhan Belediye Başkanı Kadir Aydar yaptığı açıklamada, “Atatürk’ün gösterdiği yolda yürümekten gurur duyuyoruz. Cumhuriyetimizin kurucusunu rahmetle anıyor, mirasına sahip çıkıyoruz” diyerek Atatürk'e olan bağlılığını ifade etti.
Etkinlik sonunda katılımcılar, Atatürk'ün sevdiği türkülerle duygusal anlar yaşadı. Ceyhan halkı, Atatürk’e duyduğu saygıyı ve sevgiyi bir kez daha dile getirdi.
