Ceyhan Belediyesi, ilçede kültürel faaliyetlere katkı sağlayacak yeni bir projeye imza atarak Türk Halk Müziği korosu kurmaya hazırlanıyor. "Ceyhan’ın Sesi Ol" sloganıyla duyurulan koroya katılmak isteyenler, başvurularını Murat Göğebakan Kültür Merkezi'ne yapabilecek. Başvurular, 4 Kasım 2024 Pazartesi günü itibarıyla başladı.
Ceyhan Belediye Başkanı Kadir Aydar, projenin amacının Ceyhan halkının sanata olan ilgisini artırmak ve gençlerin müzikle buluşmasını sağlamak olduğunu ifade etti. Başkan Aydar, “Ceyhanlı hemşehrilerimiz, ‘Türkülerle Ceyhan’ adı altında düzenlenecek bu etkinlikle ilçemizin sesi olacak. Tüm müzikseverleri koromuza katılmaya davet ediyoruz.” şeklinde konuştu.
