Defne Belediye Başkanı Halil İbrahim Özgün, 8 Mart Dünya Kadınlar Günü dolayısıyla belediyede görev yapan kadın çalışanlarla bir araya geldi. Başkan Özgün, kadın emeğinin toplumun her alanında büyük bir değer taşıdığını vurgulayarak, Defne’nin gelişiminde kadınların önemli bir rol oynadığını belirtti.
Kadın emekçilerin her zaman destekçisi olacaklarını ifade eden Başkan Özgün, "Defne’mizin emeğiyle, alın teriyle büyümesine katkı sunan tüm kadın emekçilerimizin yanındayız. 8 Mart Dünya Kadınlar Günü kutlu olsun!" dedi.
Program, kadınların eşitlik ve emek mücadelesine vurgu yapılan sohbetlerle devam etti.
