Görüşmede, enerji alanı başta olmak üzere mevcut iş birliği ve potansiyel iş birliği imkanları üzerinde duruldu.
Yılmaz, Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın liderliğinde belirlenen 10 milyar dolarlık ticaret hacmi hedefine ulaşabilmek için ticari ilişkilerin artırılması ve ticaretin kolaylaştırılması gerektiğini vurguladı. Ayrıca, ikili ve bölgesel meselelerin de ele alındığı görüşmede, Cezayir'in Filistin'e destek konusundaki tutumu da takdirle karşılandı. Yılmaz, Tebbun ve beraberindeki heyete misafirperverlikleri için teşekkür ederek, dost ve kardeş ülke Cezayir ile iş birliğinin her platformda artarak devam etmesini temenni etti.
