İslâm âleminin inanç değerlerine ulaşamadığı bugün, ne acıdır ki insanlığın kurban edildiğine tanık oluyoruz.
Özellikle Gazze’de yaşanan insanlık dramı bütün bu duygularımızın tercümanı olmaya yetecektir.
Ümidimizi ve umudumuzu yitirmeksizin, bu kanın, bu gözyaşının son bulduğu bir Kurban Bayramı olması temennisiyle tüm halkımızın mutluluk ve huzur dolu duyguların bir arada yaşandığı bayramlara erişmesini diliyorum” dedi.
