Yağmur sonrası kayganlaşan yolda kontrolden çıkan İETT otobüsü, kaldırıma çıkarak önce aydınlatma direğine, ardından reklam panolarına çarparak durabildi.
Kaza, saat 10.06 sıralarında İstanbul'da E5 Karayolu üzerinde meydana geldi. 34 LN 0754 plakalı İETT otobüsünün şoförü Gülcemal Yılmaz, yağmur nedeniyle kayganlaşan yolda direksiyon hakimiyetini kaybetti. Otobüs, kaldırıma çıktıktan sonra aydınlatma direğine, ardından reklam panolarına çarptı.
Bu sırada, otobüsün arkasından gelen 06 COG 271 plakalı ticari minibüs de İETT otobüsüne arkadan çarptı. İhbar üzerine olay yerine polis, itfaiye ve elektrik ekipleri sevk edildi. Ekipler, ikinci bir kazanın yaşanmaması için bölgede güvenlik önlemleri aldı.
Kaza yapan otobüs ve minibüs, ekiplerin çalışmaları sonucu olay yerinden kaldırıldı. Araçların kaldırılmasının ardından trafik akışı normale döndü.
