Rize Gençlik Merkezi önünden başlayan Filistin’e destek yürüyüşü, 15 Temmuz Demokrasi ve Cumhuriyet Meydanı’nda son buldu. Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü tarafından organize edilen yürüyüşe, Rize Valisi İhsan Selim Baydaş, Rize Belediye Başkanı Rahmi Metin, Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürü Ramazan Öztürk, AK Parti Rize İl Başkanı Yılmaz Katmer, STK temsilcileri ve çok sayıda vatandaş katıldı.
Yürüyüş boyunca Türk ve Filistin bayrakları taşıyan katılımcılar, ellerindeki dövizlerle İsrail’in Filistin’i işgalini protesto etti. Yürüyüşün ardından meydanda Kur’an-ı Kerim okundu ve Rize İl Müftüsü Naci Çakmakçı’nın yaptığı dualarla program sona erdi.
