Toplam değeri 15 Milyon TL değerindeki; yangın, acil durum, afetler ve depremlerde kullanılmak üzere 3 yeni araç Rize İtfaiyesi bünyesine kazandırıldı.
10 Tonluk 1 adet hem yangınlarda hem de temiz su kullanımına uygun tanker, 1 adet deprem ve doğal afetlerde kullanılmak üzere araç ve 1 adet de yangın, trafik kazası ve çok amaçlı itfaiye aracı Rize Belediyesi bünyesine dahil oldu.
Rize Belediye Başkanı Rahmi Metin beraberinde Başkan Yardımcıları Ahmet Murat Taviloğlu, Mustafa Arıcı ve Mehmet Yoldaş ve belediye meclis üyeleriyle birlikte İtfaiye Müdürlüğünü ziyaret ederek yeni araçları inceledi.
Başkan Metin, vatandaşların hizmetine sunmuş oldukları yeni araçların hayırlı olmasını dileyerek İtfaiye teşkilatını güçlendirmeye devam edeceklerini ve eskiyen araçları yerine yenilerini alıp, eskilerini de satış yoluyla elden çıkararak araç filosunu güçlendireceklerini belirtti.
