Çanakkale'nin Gelibolu ilçe sınırları içinde bulunan denizi ve doğa harikası güzellikleri ile dikkat çeken Saroz'a önemli sahili bulunan Güneyli muhtarı Cahit Kayışoğlu uyarıda bulunarak, "kapasitemizi doldurduk, sahillerimiz doldu taştı. Hizmet veremez duruma geldik. Konuklarımız başka sahillere yönelsin" dedi.
Güneyli Sahili’nde yaşanan yoğunluk, yerel yönetimi harekete geçirdi. Bölge muhtarı, sahilin kapasitesinin dolmuş olduğunu ve daha fazla ziyaretçi kabul edilemeyeceğini duyurdu. “Hizmet veremiyoruz, lütfen başka sahillere yönelin” çağrısında bulundu.
Yaz sezonuyla birlikte 9 günlük bayram tatilinin başlamasıyla birlikte artan ziyaretçi sayısı, Güneyli Sahili’nde altyapı ve hizmetler üzerinde baskı oluşturdu. Muhtar Kayışoğlu, “Sahilimiz herkes için güzel bir kaçış noktası olabilir, ancak şu anda güvenlik ve temizlik hizmetlerimizi sürdürmek için kapasitemizin üst sınırındayız. Ziyaretçilerin alternatif sahil bölgelerini tercih etmelerini ve bölge halkının yaşam kalitesini korumak için işbirliği yapmak ve anlayışlı olunması gerekiyor" dedi..
