Alınan bilgiye göre, Ankara’da çocuklarının yanında yaşadığı öğrenilen Beypazarı Macun Köyü nüfusuna kayıtlı 1932 Doğumlu Ömer Kaya Hayatını kaybetti.
Hayatını kaybeden Ömer Kaya, 3 çocuk babası olduğu öğrenilirken, Babasının da İstiklal savaşı gazisi olduğu öğrenilen Kore gazisinin Cenazesi Beypazarı Devlet Hastanesinden alınarak Köye getirilmesinin akabinde ikindi Namazı sonrasında, cami önünde bulunan Musalla taşına konan cenazenin kılınan Cenaze namazının ardından köy mezarlığına defin edildi.
Cenaze namazına Kaymakam Vedat Yılmaz, Belediye başkan yardımcısı Sezai Tolunay, Jandarma Komutanı Yzb. Haluk Muharrem Uzun, bazı kurum amirleri, sevenleri ve köylüler katıldı.
Cenazenin defin edilmesinin ardından cenaze namazına katılanlar mezarlık dışında Kore gezisi Ömer Kaya’nın ailesine ve yakınlarına taziyelerini bildirdi.
