Rize'de etkili olan kar yağışı nedeniyle 21 köy yolu ulaşıma kapandı. Rize İl Özel İdaresi ekipleri, İkizdere'de 13, Çamlıhemşin'de 5, Fındıklı'da 2 ve Çayeli'nde 1 olmak üzere toplam 21 köy yolunda karla mücadele çalışmalarını sürdürüyor.
Bölgede kar kalınlığı Çamlıhemşin ilçesine bağlı Ayder Yaylası'nda 55 santimetreye, İkizdere ilçesindeki Ovit Dağı Geçidi'nde ise 40 santimetreye ulaştı.
Karayolları ekipleri, İkizdere ilçesindeki Ovit Dağı Tüneli bölgesinde ve Ayder Yaylası'nda ulaşımın aksamaması için yolları tuzlayarak sürücülere güvenli bir yolculuk sağlamak için yoğun çaba gösteriyor.
