Hakkari Valisi Ali Çelik’in talimatları doğrultusunda, Cumhuriyet Caddesi üzerinde bulunan İşbankası karşısındaki eski öğretmenevinin boş alanı, işportacılar için hazır hale getirildi. Alanın zemin düzenlemesi yapıldı ve çevre temizliği tamamlandı. Fen işleri, itfaiye ve zabıta ekipleri, sabah saatlerinden itibaren alanda çalışmalarını sürdürdü.
Alanın düzenlenmesinin ardından şehir merkezindeki işportacılar, geçici olarak kurulan pazar yerlerine yönlendirilecek. Zabıta Müdürlüğü yetkilileri, “Şehir merkezinde konumlanan ve vatandaşlarımız tarafından şikâyet konusu olan tezgâhlar, pazar yerlerinin açılmasıyla kaldırılacak. Ekiplerimiz, işportacıları pazar yerine yönlendirmeye başlayacak. Kent genelinde uygulamalarımızı sürdüreceğiz” ifadelerini kullandı.
