Vali Ali Çelik’in talimatları doğrultusunda kentteki tüm aile ve çocuk oyun parkları yeniden gözden geçirilerek kentin değişik noktalarındaki 16 ayrı aile ve çocuk oyun parkı yenilendi. Halkı hizmetlerle buluşturan Hakkari Belediyesi, yürütülen alt ve üst yapı çalışmalarının yanı sıra halkın öneri ve beklentilerini gözeterek sosyal alandaki çalışmalarını da sürdürüyor. Kentin birçok noktasında yapılan çalışmalarla, şehrin çehresini değiştiren belediye, vatandaşların güzel vakit geçirebileceği ve dinlenebileceği "Kent Park Yaşam Merkezi" de de hummalı bir çalışma başlattı.
Atlılar Caddesi'nde bulunan 8 bin metrekare olarak inşa edilen, bisiklet, koşu ve yürüyüş yolları, paten alanı, oyun grupları, kamelyalar, özel süs havuzları, özel dekoratif aydınlatmalar ile yeşil alanının yer aldığı Kent Park Yaşam Merkezin' de Belediye Park ve Bahçeler Müdürlüğü tarafından bakım ve onarımı yapılarak yeniden hizmete açıldı.
