ASKİM yetkililerinden alınan bilgiye göre, öncelikle Cumhuriyet Mahallesi 25175 sokakta tamamen kullanılamaz hale gelen 50 metrelik kanalizasyon ve yağmur suyu hatları yenilendi. Kapcami Mahallesi'nde ise Tabakhane Deresi'nde yapılan çalışmalarda derenin ıslahı için 150 metrelik altyapı döşemesi gerçekleştirildi.
ASKİM yetkilileri, "Başkanımız Abdurrahman Tutdere'nin talimatları doğrultusunda, şehir genelinde halkımızın yaşam kalitesini etkileyen her türlü sorunu ivedilikle çözmeye çalışıyoruz. Cumhuriyet ve Kapcami mahallelerinde yürüttüğümüz altyapı yenileme çalışmaları da bu kapsamda önemli bir adım," ifadelerini kullandı.
Mahalle sakinleri, Adıyaman Belediyesi ekiplerinin yoğun çabalarını takdir ederek, en büyük isteklerinin Adıyaman’ın bir an önce eski günlerine kavuşması olduğunu belirttiler.
