Çayeli'ne bağlı Derecik köyünde sabah saatlerinde aşırı yağış nedeniyle toprak kayması meydana geldi. Boş olan 2 ev toprak altında kalırken, risk nedeniyle 3 ev tahliye edildi.
Heyelan sonucu ulaşıma kapanan köy yoluna vatandaşlar alternatif bir yoldan ulaşım sağlıyor. İhbar üzerine bölgeye Jandarma, AFAD, UMKE ve İl Özel İdaresi ekipleri sevk edildi.
Derecik Köyü Muhtarı Ramazan Küçüksarı, sabah saatlerinde yaşanan heyelanla ilgili olarak yaptığı açıklamada, "Heyelan sonucu toprak altında kalan evlerde kimse yoktu, ekipler bölgede çalışmalarını sürdürüyor," dedi.
